No Kings nationwide rally: Milton MA

Over five million people attended over 2,000 rallies nationwide on June 14, including in Milton. Some of them had nicely-printed signs, but I think the hand-made signs say a lot more. My sign, to the right, says "1776: No Kings! +250 years 2026: No Kings?". Here's a sample from the I-93 overpass at East Milton Square...

Above is our official invitation, and the official sign from the nationwide organizers (for $10 a sign).
Below are some home-made themes with many variations.

Here is the actual I-93 overpass. I'm not sure how many drivers on the interstate could read the signs, but they could see that there was an event.
Drivers on Granite Ave. certainly could read MOST signs, and honked a lot.

The two signs on the right below are my signs made with oil-based markers. I paid an extra dollar at the CVS to get oil-based markers, because rain was predicted, and indeed it rained all day (these photos are AFTER these signs were out in the rain all day -- after the rally at my mom's house).
I felt Very Smart and Very Well-Prepared until I saw the signs on the left below -- they are made with water-based markers, and yes, they got affected by the rain, but with such a dramatic effect that I wished my signs had leaked too!
