How you can get involved with the Democratic Party

(report from Jesse Gordon on 9/21/24):

I went canvassing in New Hampshire this weekend -- they need our help! My pundit friends outside of Massachusetts tell me, "You should go help Pennsylvania, because New Hampshire always manages to vote for Democrats for President." That's true -- but only because Massachusetts Democrats flood New Hampshire every four years!

I knocked on doors in Nashua and Hudson, just north of the border. There were Trump signs everywhere -- and for Republicans for the hotly-contested U.S. House seat and Governor's race. Many Kamala Harris supporters were relieved that I knocked on their doors with Democratic Party literature, because they feel intimidated by their much-louder MAGA neighbors.

Canvassing in New Hampshire: Contact Michael Mullen at mgmullen01@gmail.com or 518-795-5363 -- he's the Democratic Party coordinator in Nashua NH. They have daily canvassing every morning and afternoon, plus phone banks.

Show up in Nashua: Walk-in's are welcome -- the campaign office is at 60 Main Street, Suite 103, Nashua NH. It's an hour's drive from Randolph. You can also request phone lists to make calls from home, if you don't want to take a trip.

Car pool to New Hampshire: The Randolph Democrats plan to go every weekend until the election. If you'd like to car-pool, text me at 617-320-6989 and I'll let you know who else is going.

Postcards to Pennsylvania: If you prefer writing to canvassing or telephoning, you can do that too. I have a large list of people to write to in Pennsylvania (yes, that state matters too, but it's harder to drive there!), with blank postcards. You write a friendly message by hand, and you add the stamps, and voters in Pennsylvania receive your postcard and smile, and then vote.

Randolph Democrats Meeting: Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 1, at 7 PM, at Randolph Town Hall. You can hear more about any of the above, and hear stories from others.
